Traditional film or pour plates result in exposed culture leading to potential cross contamination. Dipslide are sealed and counted without opening so no cross contamination occurs, The testing is done inhouse to eliminate growth or die off of cultures in transit to outside test labs and since testing is begun immediately results are read in 24-48 hours. Dipslides are also double sided so testing labour and material costs are reduced.     

Test methods using swabs or sponges involve dilutions and thus reduce sensitivity. Dipslides are used directly on surfaces to give the greatest sensitivity.

We have displides for Staphylococci, Pseudomonas, Listeria, Salmonella, Mastitis, and Lactic acid bacteria with more species underdevelopment.
