Scigiene’s Gen 2 High Temperature 5" T-Probe
wireless sensors are constructed of Teflon and St. Steel to provide durability
in extreme environments of up to 100+°C and are IP68 and withstand conditions
that would result in most plastics becoming brittle. These are designed
specifically although not limited to smoke house and cook houses. The T shaped
design allows for easy insertion and removal of the pointed probe without
bending of the probe and eliminates damaged cables (since there are none), while
the T-handle makes its use ergonomic and when inserted it sits flush to the
product being tested making it easier to secure via simple strapping and less
likely to be knocked out (as occurs with most standard body heavy cylindrical
dataloggers). These can be supplied with a range of standard or
custom built probes. The GEN2 models also have internal memories so that even
in the worst wireless conditions data is logged and downloaded once RF
connection is re-established.
The T-probes are high powered 900MHz wireless
temperature sensors (PT1000 RTD) to accurately measure internal product
temperatures. User customization allows you to set the frequency of readings
and the ability to set thresholds for alerts via SMS text and/or email or to
activate control relays. These can be used in concert with the rest of our
Industrial series sensor to implement a plant wide monitoring system for all
production areas, cooler and freezers as well as use with over 50 different
senor types.
