Scigiene’s Wireless Gen 2 Water Rope Sensor detects conductive liquids anywhere along the length of the detection rope by using two wires covered with conducting polymer. When water or conductive liquid contacts the rope, the sensor will immediately turn on the RF radio and transmit the data to the wireless gateway and Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System, allowing the user to immediately receive an alert by SMS text, email or voice call. The sensor rope dries quickly allowing the sensor to reset for next use. The sensor comes with an initial 10 foot section of water detection rope and can be expanded up to 100 feet by simply clicking additional 10 foot sections of detection rope together. Scigiene's wireless sensors are ideal for pharmaceutical, medical and other high tech applications where loss of data is unacceptable. These also have an amazing range of over 1000 ft. with 10 year battery life and can be remotely upgraded via network connections. These are truly the most advanced wireless sensors available.

1. The resistance between the conductive probe ends must be less than this to ensure water detection. 2. The input of this sensor is passive. Never apply any voltage to the water detection lead. 3. Operating and storage altitude without DC power supply is -30.48 to 9144 m (-100 to 30000 ft).
