Description

The Low Level Peracetic Acid Test strip is used for testing residual levels of peracetic acid. Peracetic acid is another sanitizing agent, especially used in some segments of the food industry, such as organic produce and poultry. The Low Level Peracetic Acid test strip is calibrated at 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, and 50 ppm, and gives results in just seconds.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Remove one test strip from the vial, being careful not to touch the test pad with your fingers.
  2. Dip the test strip into the solution to be tested for 2 seconds.
  3. Remove and shake off any excess liquid.
  4. Compare the test pad to the color chart after 10 seconds.

NOTE: To test residuals on surfaces: wet the test pad at the end of the strip with deionized water & press against the skin of the fruit, vegetable or poultry in question. If there is any residual peracetic acid present, the color of the test pad will change immediately.
